Staveley Hall, Staveley

Originally built in 1604, the old hall had been partly demolished by the early Nineteenth Century. Sir George Gilbert Scott remodelled it in 1867, principally rebuilding the front, and also the interior, where the staircase with stone arches was probably his work.
