St John the Baptist, Staveley

A church restored by Sir George Gilbert Scott between 1865-9 at a cost of £6,000. He added a ‘spacious’ north aisle in Thirteenth Century style and also similarly rebuilt the chancel, the porch and the adjoining part of the south aisle.
