In Leicestershire Workhouse, Woodmarket Road, Lutterworth The Sir George Gilbert Scott and Moffatt standard plan workhouse was approved in 1838 and built between 1839-40. It cost £5,000 and could accommodate 200 inmates. It was demolished in around 1970.
