St Paul's, Chippenham

In 1852, Sir George Gilbert Scott drew up a plan and drawings for this church in Early English Geometrical style. He entered a limited competition to gain the commission, and his design was selected from three entries. Scott's planned church was built in 1854-5. A broach spire was added to Scott's church in 1860-1.
