St John the Baptist, Moulsford

Between 1846-7 Gilbert Scott built a flint and stone church for the Rev. G. K. Morrell (1814/5-81), the first perpetual curate from 1846-76. It was built on the site of a Norman chapel and retained the old west wall and kept the other walls to the existing layout. The west turret built out of wood has a small broach spire.
