Elisabeth Scott, 1898 -1972

Granddaughter of Sir George Gilbert Scott's brother John, designed the Shakespeare memorial Theatre at Stratford-upon-Avon, the first important building in Britain to be designed by a female architect. She features, with her second cousin Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, on the new British passport.
