St Stephen's, Edge Hill, Liverpool

Sir George Gilbert Scott built this Commissioner’s Church between 1850-2 at a cost of £4,085 in a thirteenth century Gothic style. It had 429 pews and 572 free seats. It was demolished due to the railway works and replaced by St Stephen’s Church, Grove Street, in 1881.
