St Clement's, Islington

This church was built by Sir George Gilbert Scott in 1863-5, at the sole expense of G. Cubitt, M.P., later Lord Ashcombe, from stock brick with three red brick portals, a bellcote and a six bay nave. It cost around £6000 and the builders were the Dove Brothers. It has now been converted to flats.
