Monument to John Hulme, Viscount Alford, Belton
In 1851 Sir George Gilbert Scott designed a monument to John Hume, Viscount Alford, whose tomb was a recess in the west wall of St Peter and St Pauls' church here. It is a brass cross on the lid of a marble sarcophagus, with an elaborate canopy above.
