Monument to Bishop Forbes, Dundee

Bishop Forbes died in October 1875 and one of Sir George Gilbert Scott's last works in 1876 was to design a table tomb supporting an effigy of the bishop. This was placed on the liturgical north side of the chancel of St Paul’s, under a Decorated canopy, and a fine brass was set into the floor over his burial place.
