Christchurch, Ottershaw

This church was designed and built by Sir George Gilbert Scott, completed in 1864, in thirteenth century style, with an apse in polychrome brick with inlaid tiles. The patron was Sir Thomas Edward Colebrooke, who bore the entire cost of the build as well as an endowment. The original spire was replaced with a tower in 1885.
